Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (Annmarie Garden’s) has announced that the garden will close at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012, for a private event.Guests planning a visit to Annmarie on August 11, including those interested in participating in the Chalk-a-thon, will need to adjust their plans.Call 410-326-4640 or email info@annmariegarden.org for additional information.
Annmarie’s annual Sidewalk Chalk-a-thon will kick-off Saturday August 4th and continue through Sunday, August 12, 2012.On most days, the Chalk-a-thon will be open 10am-4pm, but on Saturday, August 11, the Chalk-a-thon will close at 2pm.Reservations are not required to participate in the Chalk-a-thon; simply check in at the Arts Building to pick up your bucket of chalk! Prizes will be awarded in various age groups, including an adult category! Don’t want to get chalky? Just walk the path and enjoy the colorful masterpieces and all the sculpture and fairy houses.Cost to enter the Chalk-a-thon is $2 per person; $1 per person for Annmarie members. Regular site admission fees will also apply. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to make some interesting art and experience a colorful pathway!
