Hollywood Fire Destroys Shed, Fence
Hollywood, MD - 7/30/2012
A fire early Sunday morning caused damage to a fence and shed at a home on Palomino Drive in Hollywood. According to the State Fire Marshall’s Office, the accidental fire started in a large pile of brush and spread to a dilapidated wooden shed and then to a wooden privacy fence and to brush in a neighboring yard.
It took 17 firefighters from the Hollywood, Bay District and Leonardtown volunteer fire departments10 minutes to bring the fire under control. Damage is estimated at $1,000. No one was injured.
The fire was investigated by Deputy Fire Marshall Dexter Hughes.
