Two Arrested In Multiple Burglaries of Private Residences

During weekly CompStat meetings a trend was identified linking multiple burglaries to private residences in the Hollywood, Bushwood and Chaptico areas of St. Mary’s County which occurred during the months of May and June, 2012. St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Crime Analysts and allied agencies working with detectives identified similar burglaries in Charles and Calvert Counties. 
Following a joint investigation by detectives from the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Charles County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and the Calvert County Investigative Team multiple search warrants were executed resulting in the recovery of stolen property. Timothy Lee Elder, age 23, of Lusby, Maryland and Kimberly Michelle Dove, age 26, of Mechanicsville, Maryland were each charged with Burglary 1st Degree (3 Counts) and Theft $1,000 - $10,000 (3 Counts) for the crimes committed in St. Mary’s County.
Additional charges are pending a review by the State’s Attorney’s Office.
