Warrant Service, Resisting Arrest & Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
On July 30, 2012 deputies attempted to arrest David Allen Roberts, 21 of Great Mills, Maryland on 2 outstanding warrants from Calvert County.Roberts briefly resisted arrest and attempted to throw suspected Oxycodone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia from his person.After a brief struggle Roberts was subdued and the controlled dangerous substance was recovered.Roberts was served with the outstanding warrants and additionally charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
Theft
On July 31, 2012 deputies responded to a residence on Nancy Lane in Great Mills, Maryland for a report of a theft.The victim reported several items of jewelry, valuing over $1,400.00 were stolen.Investigation revealed Shanenon Lee Hawkins, 26 of Hollywood, Maryland was at the victim’s residence on July 30, 2012.Further investigation revealed that on July 31, 2012 Hawkins pawned several of the stolen items at a local jewelry store.Hawkins was arrested and charged with 2 counts of theft under $100.00 and theft over $1,000 but under $10,000.
Second Degree Assault
On August 1, 2012 deputies responded to a residence on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed Mary Rosario Hall, 21 of Lexington Park, Maryland was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Hall struck the victim in the face. Hall was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
