SharePoint for the Administrator

8-10 a.m., Aug. 23, College of Southern Maryland, Leonardtown Campus, C Building, Room 216, 22950 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown. Offered by CSM’s Corporate Center, participants will learn from subject matter experts how the collaborative web application SharePoint will enable a global team to share information in a central location using web technology in real time. SharePoint extends productivity from the office to the globe using mobile devices with different platforms and operating systems. Team members engage in advanced levels of efficiency by utilizing shared workspaces, calendars, libraries of documents, lists of tasks and more. Securing Mobile Devices

8-10 a.m., Sept. 20, College of Southern Maryland, Leonardtown Campus, C Building, Room 216, 22950 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown. Offered by CSM’s Corporate Center, participants will learn from subject matter experts how to secure valuable information while using the latest technology—whether a government agency, the military or commercial enterprise. The cybersecurity challenge is constantly evolving, reflecting continually changing technologies. Learn preventive practices and procedures to follow in the event of a breech.
