UPDATE:

Early Saturday afternoon, Fire and EMS units from Leonardtown and Hollywood were dispatched for an accident involving two motorcycles.

The initial report was that a trailer had become unhitched from the towing vehicle and struck two motorcycles.

One of the patients was reported to have an amputation from the knee. Maryland State Police Trooper Two flew that patient to Baltimore while United States Park Police Eagle One flew the other patient to PG.

A portion of Point Lookout Road was shut down from Hollywood/Leonardtown Road to Cedar Lane Road for the initial accident and the reconstruction investigation.

Route 5 by CSM in Leonardtown is closed due to a motorcycle accident.

Two people have been flown out.
