Rodney W. Wright, age 42, of Lexington Park

On August 10, 2012, detectives from the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Sex Offender Unit, apprehended Rodney W. Wright, age 42, of Lexington Park, Maryland after he failed to register as a sex offender as required.

Wright is a Tier III offender and was released from incarceration on July 30, 2012. Wright failed to register within three days of being released from custody.

Wright is currently being held in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center under no bond.

The Registry costs $4000,000,000 per year
Is it any wonder that a former offender would go underground? His address, vehicle, employer and photo are posted on the internet, sometimes on fliers; they are harrassed, avoided, ostrasized and marginalized. Unemployable, no one will rent to them and they are often victims of vigilante attacks from nice people such as anyone here. Remember that Anne Frank was forced to register, too. They eventually caught her.

If he didn't do the crime.... He wouldn't be doing the time... (Including being on the registry)! I don't feel a bit sorry for them!

Anne Frank was not a SEX OFFENDER! As mentioned in the previous post about registering. I don't know why people take up for SEX OFFENDERS!!

Comparing a pervert to Anne Frank, an innocent child killed by a psychotic regime, is one of the more perverted and sick comments ever posted on Baynet. Ironically, using her being registered defeats your whole argument - we want these perverts registered so we CAN keep track of them and protect innocent children. Plus, he knew it was the law that he had to register when he was released and he chose to violate that law too. Not as innocent as you want us to believe, is he. He’s just another criminal with no care for the law or the innocent people around them.
