Young Teen Couple Caught After Shoplifting Spree; Trooper Warrant Arrests

At 8 p.m. Aug. 20, Trooper Brill and TFC Laney responded to the Belk Store for a theft in progress.

Upon arrival contact was made with the security manager who advised two juveniles, a 17-year-old female and a 15-year-old male, fled on foot from the store after stealing several articles of clothing.

The juveniles were later apprehended in the area by TFC Laney.

It was discovered that the juveniles also stole articles of clothing from JC Penney.

Both juveniles were issued no trespass notices for the Belk Store and JC Penney Store. They were released to their parents pending further action by Juvenile Services.

Warrant Arrests

At 1 p.m. Aug. 16, Brian Christopher King, 36 of Waldorf, was arrested on a Circuit Court True Bill Indictment for Possession With Intent to Distribute Narcotics.  The Warrant was served by TFC Quade and Mr. King was incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.

At 10 a.m. Aug. 20, TFC M. Grimes served a Bench Warrant on Terry Francis Clinton, 44 of Lexington Park.  The Bench Warrant was issued in District Court on August 15, 2007.  The charges are for Failing to Appear / Theft Under $100. Clinton was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.

At 4:51 p.m. Aug. 20, TFC M. Moore served a Bench Warrant  on Edward Stanley Elam, 58, of Lexington Park.  The Bench Warrant was issued in District Court on August 7, 2007.  The charges were Failing to Appear / driving a rental car in violation of the rental agreement.  Mr. Elam was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.

At 2:30 p.m. Aug. 21, Michael Grafton Robinson, 39 of Callaway, was arrested on an Arrest Warrant charging him with Theft Under $100 in Prince Frederick.  He was arrested by Tpr. J. Chirichella and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
