Heathens Steal Baby Jesus: More Calvert Police Blotter

 Dep. Jason Dean responded to a home on St. Leonard Road in St. Leonard for a theft report.  The victim reported that between 10 p.m. on Nov. 26 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 27, unknown suspects entered the yard and stole two inflatable Christmas yard decorations.  One is an inflatable train set valued at $150 and the other is an inflatable Nativity scene valued at $75.  Please contact Dep. Grinch Steals Grinch
 An inflatable 8 ½ foot Christmas Grinch valued at $50 was stolen from a side yard of a home on F Street in Chesapeake Beach on Nov. 30 between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m.  If you have any information, please contact Dep. Kevin Hall at 410-535-3723.

Golf Course Burgled 
 Unknown suspect(s) entered Mellomar Golf Course on Scaggs Road in Owings overnight between November 23 and November 24 and took cash and caused $100 in damage.  Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Michael Naecker at 410-535-2800.

Verizon Facility Looted
 Unknown suspects stole $1300 worth of copper wiring and caused $250 in damage at a Verizon facility on Sixes Road in Prince Frederick between Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. Nov. 27. Dep. Jason Dean will continue the investigation.

Van Bashed Up
 Dep. Justin Livingston responded to a home on Palisades Drive in Dunkirk on December 2 at 20 after midnight for a destruction of property call.  The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had broken out the front and rear windshields of his 2007 Chrysler van causing $1000 in damage.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Driver Gets DUI After Crash
 At 8:12 p.m. Nov. 29, Cpl. Anthony Moschetto responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash at Route 4 and the Fox Run Shopping Center in Prince Frederick.
 The driver of a 2006 Ford Focus, later identified as William Grantham, 20 of Callaway, struck the rear end of a 2003 Ford pick up truck. There were no injuries.
 Moschetto observed that Grantham appeared to be intoxicated and he subsequently failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence.  A search incident to arrest revealed marijuana and Grantham was charged with possession of marijuana. 

Pot Arrest
 Dep. Edwin Bradley conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle at 6:50 a.m. Dec. 2, at Route 4 and Pardoe Road in Lusby.  The driver, later identified as Derrick S. Sherbert, 28 of Lusby, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged accordingly.
