Don't Be Alarmed; Full-Scale Police Training Op Coming Soon
PRINCE FREDERICK - 12/20/2007
|
On Friday Dec. 28, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a large-scale training exercise at the College of Southern Maryland-Prince Frederick Campus. Members of the Maryland State Police and local fire and EMS personnel will also participate in the exercise. Citizens should be aware that this is a realistic training exercise and they may see police and fire department personnel responding to the scene and they may hear simulated gun fire or other loud noises in the area. The exercise will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will end by 3:00 p.m. The campus including the parking lot will be closed to the public while the exercise is taking place. Traffic on J.W. Williams Road and MD 231 should not be affected. |
