Troopers Find Array of Drugs During Stops

At 5:41 p.m. Dec. 24, Antonio Derrell Washington, 19, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC T. Quade for possession of Cocaine and possession of Marijuana. Washington was operating a gray Mercury Grand Marquis when he was stopped on Spring Valley Drive in Lexington Park for an equipment violation. During the course of the traffic stop, Washington was found to be in possession of two baggies of Cocaine and one baggie of Marijuana. Washington was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review. At 12:49 p.m. Dec. 22, George John Kiesel, 27, of Great Mills, was arrested by TFC L. Nims for possession of prescription medications not prescribed to him. Kiesel was operating a silver Volkswagen Jetta when he was stopped north bound Route 235 at Beck Road in Hollywood for exceeding the posted speed limit. During the course of the traffic stop, Kiesel refused to sign the citation and was subsequently arrested. A search of his person revealed he was in possession of prescription medication which was not prescribed to him. Kiesel was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review. At 12:37 a.m. Dec. 22, TFC E. Evans initiated a traffic stop on Route 235 at St. John’s Road in Hollywood on a black Chevrolet Colorado for an equipment violation. During the course of the traffic stop, Jeremy Tyler King, 25 of Hollywood was found to be in possession of a CDS smoking device. King was charged with possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia on a Uniform Criminal Citation and released at the scene. At 12:04 a.m. Dec. 20, Anthony Wayne Warren, 23, of California, was arrested by TFC E. Evans for possession of Marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Warren was operating a gray Nissan Altima when he was stopped on Route 5 and Route 6 in Mechanicsville for failing to drive in a single lane. During the course of the traffic stop, Warren was arrested for DUI. A search incident to arrest revealed Warren was in possession of a small bag of Marijuana. Warren was transported to the Leonardtown Barracks for processing for the DUI and later transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review. |
