Two Students Arrested After Bus Fight

At 2:23 p.m. Wednesday, St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a fight aboard a school bus on Spring Valley Drive near Timber Valley Court in Lexington Park.
According to Dep. Allen, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Office, two male students, ages 11 and 13, got into a verbal argument that escalated into an assault.
After police and school officials on the scene figured out the situation, both students were charged.
The 13-year-old was charged on a youth report with assault and disrupting school activities. The 11-year-old was charged with disrupting school activities.
The bus was reportedly from Esperanza Middle School.
