POTOMAC HEIGHTS - 4/5/2008
Charles County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 17-year-old volunteer firefighter who is accused of stealing money from his department by using a master key to make numerous hits on a firehouse cash box.
Between December 2007 and April 2, the boy stole more than $3,000 from an office in the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department, using a stolen master key.
After department officials reported the theft to police, Sheriff’s investigators got involved and determined the teen was stealing the money.
