Civista Foundation Executive Receives Scholarship

Susan M. Vogel, Executive Director of the Civista Health Foundation, was recently awarded a full scholarship to attend the 16th Annual Planned Giving Days conference sponsored by the National Capital Gift Planning Council (NCGPC).
The two-day conference was held May 22-23 and was the premier planned giving educational and networking opportunity in the Mid-Atlantic region for planned giving officers, fundraising professionals, and legal and financial professionals.
Four scholarships were awarded and Vogel received the Potter Scholarship, named for the late Jim Potter, an expert in the field of planned giving and recipient of NCGPC’s Distinguished Service Award in 1999.
Civista Health Foundation is the recipient of the Non Profit of the Year awards from the Charles County Chamber of Commerce and the Community Foundation of Charles County.
