22nd St. Mary's County Crab Festival Set to Go

The Leonardtown Lions Club invites crab and fun lovers to join them in their annual celebration of St. Mary’s County culture and cooking. This Sunday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds will host the annual event. There will be find plenty of steamed hard crabs, crab soups, crab cakes, and other seafood dishes available for purchase. Those in attendance can browse among many regional crafters and enjoy some local entertainment in the form of shows by local dance studio teams, the long-time crowd-pleasing Chesapeake Country Cruisers line dance team, and live country music from local legends Southbound. A full 100 percent of all Crab Festival proceeds go to Lions Club Community Service Programs such as: Leader Dogs, Vision Support, Free Vision Screening and much more! Bring Fido along, too.
