MSP Barrack "U" Crime Report

Calvert County, MD - 5/14/2012

Burglary:  On 5/9/12 at 2:00 am, Trooper First Class Parker responded to the 3700 block of Redberry Dr. in Port Republic for a reported burglary.  Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence while the homeowners were asleep and removed numerous items.  Investigation continues.

Possession of Marijuana:  On 5/10/12 at 6:20 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle at Brickhouse Rd and Green Acres Ct. in Dunkirk for traffic violations.  A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle revealed that Andre J. Creek, 21 of Owings, was in possession of marijuana.  He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Theft From Vehicle:   On 5/11/12 at 7:50 pm, Senior Trooper Gill responded to the Seahorse Beach in Lusby for a reported theft from a vehicle.  The victim’s wallet was stolen from their unlocked vehicle while the victim was at the beach.  Investigation continues.

Theft:  On 5/13/12 at 09:00 pm, Trooper First Class Evans responded to the WAWA in Prince Frederick for a reported theft.  An unknown suspect reached over the sales counter and stole cash that was lying on the counter to be counted.  Investigation continues.
