SMYFL, Opening Day for Football

TRACIE GANTT
9/13/2009

I want to say that opening day for SMYFL was a experience that I and my family really enjoyed, the children enjoyed there games and the fun they had when allowed on the field during half time and in between games to dance to the mucic, I saw some of the funniest stuff I laughed so hard, and not just that the Joy on there faces was the best part of the day. With out the oppertunity that SMYFL gave these children they may not have ever got to experience that day. The support from parents, volenters, and just anyone who wanted to help they had the children helping when they wanted, SMYFL made the children more apart of this day than anything going on. The Football Commissioner Frank Moneymaker was there and I watched him enjoy himself and be proud of the children and everyone who worked hard, and gave praise to all who worked so hard to make a wonderful day happen. The others on the board, Pat Murphy wonderful job...Paul another Director, I watched him and his Wife work very hard to make sure concessions went well and there was enough food to go around, amoungst other duty's they had to get done for the day. Candice Moneymaker who is the events cordinater, well done you did and excellent job and I know how much time and effort you put into this day.. and you it should be known. This young lady worked her tale off to get alot of things we had there done. Kuddoes to you my friend... So to anyone who says SOUTHERN MARYLAND YOUTH FOOTBALL WILL NOT WORK....GUESS WHAT IT'S WORKING AND HERE TO STAY... SO WELCOME TO SOUTHERN MARYLAND YOUTH'S FOOTBALL'S LEAGUES FINEST.. WAY TO GO SMYFL..... We will be here to stay.. with support from the community and all our parents...This league is going to make it.. so to all who say Lexington Park the South End of Football won't last boy do you have a big suprise...!!!! Welcome to South end Football.....Way to go to all our children... but way way to go to all the supporters and children from the South end....... Sincerly, Tracie Gantt
