At 6:45 p.m. Feb. 24, Charles County Sheriff’s Officers responded to the 1000 block of Bannister Circle for the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed two Waldorf boys, ages 15 and 16, were outside in the 1000 block of Bannister Circle when two other Waldorf boys, ages 13 and 17, approached them and attempted to rob them with a handgun. The victims fled.
Officers located the suspects outside a residence nearby on Reston Place and apprehended them. The accused were charged with robbery.
The younger accused was released to a guardian and the older accused is being held at the Cheltenham Youth Facility. Other charges are pending. Officer D. Snyder is continuing the investigating.
