On March 23, members of the Calvert Investigative Team with the assistance of Maryland State Police and Calvert County Sheriff Office road patrol units executed a search warrant at 7280 Saw Mill Road, Lusby, Calvert County, in reference to an armed robbery. The armed robbery occurred on March 3, at 8:52 p.m. at 1119 Sollars Wharf Rd, Lusby. The victim Russell Eaton, 39 years old from Lusby, was robbed at gun point while delivering a pizza. 

Santana Moore, 16 years old from Lusby, and an accomplice held a shotgun at the victim and demanded money. 

During the search of Moore’s home a weapon and masks were found in a bedroom of the residence.  Suspected crack cocaine and ammunition was found in the Moore’s 1987 Chevy Caprice.

Moore was charged as an adult with 1st Degree Assault, Armed Robbery, Deadly Weapon with the Intent to Injure, Reckless Endangerment, CDS Possession Not Marijuana, and possession of ammunition by a minor.  Moore was arrested on 3/25/2006 and held on $75.000 bond.  A second suspect has been identified; charges are pending on that suspect.
