At 6:30 p.m. June 10, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the report of an armed robbery that occurred at a VanGO bus stop on Davis Road in Waldorf.
The victim, a 19-year-old Waldorf man, was waiting at the bus stop when a green Honda Civic sedan drove by. The Civic, occupied by five individuals described only as black males, turned around and stopped in front of the victim.
Three of the suspects robbed the victim of his wallet, which contained cash and credit cards. One of the suspects also robbed the victim of his iPhone and headphones. The suspects returned to the Civic and the vehicle fled the scene.
Shortly thereafter, the bus arrived. The victim notified the driver of the robbery and police were called to the scene.
