Ms. Mary L. Barnes lost her home with all of her belongings in a house fire on Feb. 2, in Lexington Park. Other than her brother and a few nieces and nephews Ms. Barnes has no immediate family to help her. Her husband died several years ago and they had no children. Pictures, clothes, dishes, food, furniture and personal identification along with everything else were lost in the fire. Unfortunately like a lot of poverty stricken homes she had no insurance and no means to replace her home or possessions other than a small social security check.
Please help us re-build a home for Ms. Barnes by sending money in care of her brother Floyd. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Let’s show her that St Mary’s County cares…
