Accident Reported – Mechanicsville
Update: 12:54 p.m. Accident victim is being transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Update: 12:40 p.m. It has been reported that the fire department is currently on the scene.The first responders found a single vehicle on its side and a broken utility pole.
SMECO has been notified. Road closure is expected to repair the utility pole. Use caution if traveling in this area. Drivers should use alternative routes.
At approximately 12:32 p.m. an accident was reported on Faith Church Road in Mechanicsville.
A driver has been reported to be trapped inside of a vehicle.
