ADVISORY: Three Notch Road Accident In Mechanicsville Sends One To Hospital; Ridge VFD Member Involved

MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident in Mechanicsville that involves a member from the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.

At approximately 11:23 PM on May 15, first responders were alerted to an accident on Three Notch Rd. in the area of Mechanicsville Road. Our reports indicate that Chief 4A of the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department was involved in a two vehicle collision.

Chief 4 of Ridge has contacted St. Mary’s Communications to see if their member requires any assistance from their department. Chief 4A refused medical treatment at the scene and one other patient that was involved was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The southbound lanes of Three Notch Rd. In that area remain closed from the accident.
