'American Pickers' To Film In Maryland, Looking For Leads

BALTIMORE – The American Pickers are excited to return to Maryland! They plan to film episodes of The History Channel hit television series throughout your area in March 2023.

AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on The History Channel. The hit show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.

They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way. The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.

We at American Pickers continue to take the pandemic very seriously and will be following all guidelines and protocols for safe filming outlined by the state and CDC. Nevertheless, we are excited to continue reaching the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking and are eager to hear their memorable stories!

The American Pickers TV Show is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through we would love to hear from you! Please note, the Pickers DO NOT pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or anything open to the public. If interested, please send us your name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos to:

  1. No thanks, maybe when Mike and Danielle post a legit, publicly aired apology to Frank Fritz for airing his personal business to the world and talking about him like he was beneath them. Until then stay in Iowa wokesters.

  2. This is awesome! I want to work for these guys and find that ”honey hole” and ”rusty gold” too!!

  3. I’m with Harry on this one. Go somewhere. Stay out of MD. People are gonna be tripping over themselves to line up though.

  4. No thanks, I haven’t been able to watch an episode after they fired Frank, Robbie is a big boor!

    Bring back Fritz!

  5. Crumpton Maryland has a large auction in multiple farm fields. It is known as the place to go to buy antiques. It is probably the best run auction I have ever seen. Definately a Must Do if you come to Marland. Also I have an idea for you. How about you do your first whole community pick in Hillsmere Shores just outside Annapolis, Maryland. Let the people bring their stuff to the community beach for you to pick. No competition, no walking around nasty atticts, or crawling around cobb web filled basements. Put Hillsmere Shores on the map and have fun. Once you use this idea you can take it else where. I also have an new concept for your show that would huge and involve your current users making a new look, feel and add excitement. Call me 410-903-8477
