Annmarie Gardens family fun night

SOLOMONS, MD – The community is invited to attend a special “Family Game Night” at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This special evening, designed for adults, and youth ages 10 and older, will be held in conjunction with Annmarie After Hours to celebrate the opening of a new art exhibit, “Games: from Marbles to Minecraft.”  Pinball, giant pick-up sticks, cornhole, and an array of board games and puzzles will fill the Murray Arts Building for game enthusiasts to play and enjoy. High Tide Games, from Lexington Park, and Play-n-Trade, from Lusby, will both be bringing interactive games, including a Minecraft playing station, and new games including a Pokemon Trading Card game. Pokémon Go players will be happy to find many Pokéstops and three gyms at the Garden and lures will be set all evening for non-stop play.

There will be complementary refreshments courtesy of Mission BBQ, free popcorn and lemonade for the kids courtesy of Hardesty Haven Catering, along with a cash bar for the older guests (soft drinks, wine, beer, etc.).
