Annual D.A.R.E. training and awards

The Maryland D.A.R.E. Officers Association participates each year with annual in-service training provided by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions.  Each year the training is held at a venue in Ocean City, Maryland.  The purpose of the training is to provide D.A.R.E. Officers from across the State updated information on program enhancements for the D.A.R.E. program and other relative topics ranging from synthetic drug use to how to manage the child in the classroom with learning disabilities.  This year’s conference was held April 15th through the 17th, 2014 at the Prince Royale Hotel and Conference Center.
