Prince Frederick, MD – Calvert County authorities reported an arrest warrant has been served for a man identified as Nick Charles Brown, 21 of Lusby. Brown is charged with theft $1,000 to under $10,000.

According to charging documents, “the initial complainant claims that Brown stole two violins, a diamond ring, a gold necklace, a black topaz ring, a Pandora bracelet, two sets of clippers and other miscellaneous items. The estimated total value of the items stolen was $3,380. “

Trooper First Class Esnes of the Maryland State Police drew up the report, and after speaking with the complainant, did a pawn database search. The search revealed the exchange point for cash to be a pawn shop on Great Mills Road in St. Mary’s County. The customer, Brown, used his Maryland Identification Card for the transaction.
