At 7:05 p.m. March 18, Officer D. Snyder responded to Kohls at 11112 Mall Circle in Waldorf for the report of three shoplifters in custody.
Investigation revealed two 15-year-old girls and a 16-year-old girl, all of Waldorf, removed clothing from display racks and concealed it after removing the tags.
They attempted to leave the store without paying for the merchandise but loss prevention personnel stopped and detained them until police arrived.
They were all charged with theft of property valued at less than $500 and were released to their parents.
At 7:40 p.m. March 11, Officer D. Walker responded to Sears, located at 11170 Mall Circle in Waldorf, for the report of three shoplifters in custody.
Investigation revealed two 15-year-old girls and a 16-year-old girl, all of Waldorf, concealed merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying. Store security officers detained them until the officer’s arrival.
They were charged with theft and released to parents.
