At 8:25 a.m. Aug. 29, a resident of Mechanicsville reported that an unknown culprit had stolen his boat trailer, MD Reg. 860315G, missing the right rear light, from the Hallowing Point boat ramp parking lot.
A witness stated that he observed a white male, 6-foot, thin build, with blonde hair, driving a dark-colored Ford or Dodge diesel truck, leave the scene with the trailer.
TFC Lass of the La Plata Trooper barrack is handling the investigation.
