Annapolis, MD – The Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACPD) confirms it is conducting an investigation after human remains were found in Annapolis. The discovery was made Tuesday, May 31 in a wooded area behind Industrial Drive, a short distance from Westfield Mall.
“Preliminary findings are that the deceased is an adult female with slight decomposition,” an AACPD report stated. “There is no further information at this time.”
Police have not indicated at this time whether foul play is suspected.
