On Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at approximately 10:09 am, there was a report of smoke from a building on the 4000 block of Hidden Hill Drive.

The Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad (Co.6) responded to the call and found smoke coming from a medium size shed that looks to have been converted to possible living or work space with smoke coming from it. Huntingtown firefighters did a search, extinguish and ventilation of the building.  On the call were apparatus from the following companies: Prince Frederick (Co. 2), Dunkirk (Co. 5), North Beach (Co. 1) and Tanker from St. Leonard (Co. 7) and Ambulance from Prince Frederick (Co.4).

Once the fires were knocked down, Chief 6 (Riffe) scaled back to Huntingtown units only and released the rest of the equipment.

The fire marshal was requested.
