PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – The League of Women Voters of Calvert County 2018 Legislative Evening will be on Wednesday, November 14th at the College of Southern Maryland in Prince Frederick, 115 J.W. Williams Rd. There will be light refreshments and networking from 6:30pm to 7pm, program to begin at 7pm.

Each year, the LWV of Calvert County hosts a Legislative Evening as a service for the voters of Calvert County. This event includes members of Calvert’s Annapolis Delegation presenting the legislative achievements of the previous year’s General Assembly Session and outlining their priorities for the coming Session. After which, local organizations followed by county residents will address the state Delegates and Senators with their own legislative priorities.

This event is an opportunity for Calvert voters to find out what your representatives have accomplished on your behalf and what they hope to accomplish in the future. The LWV of Calvert’s Legislative Evening also provides you the opportunity to tell your representatives what you want from them as legislators. And finally, through this event you can learn what the priorities of your community and neighbors are. The event is free and open to the public.

We hope to see you there.
