At approximately 4 p.m. on April 6, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic call on Maria Way in Lexington Park. When authorities arrived they discovered a man armed with a shotgun inside the home.
After being confronted by police, the man, identified as Joshua Bruce Hildreth, 28, surrendered peacefully, and walked out with his arms raised unarmed.
Police secured Hildreth and transported him to St. Mary’s Hospital as an emergency petition where Hildreth was to undergo a medical evaluation. There were no arrests made in this incident.
Hildreth is no stranger to authorities. He was arrested in March for another domestic incident where he burned the windshield wiper of his girlfriend’s car during a dispute. The original TBN story is here.
Earlier on April 6, Maryland State Police also responded to a domestic call at the location and no arrests were made.
At this time there is no official report on Hildreth’s condition or legal status. More information will be provided as it is released by authorities.
