LANDOVER, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives are asking the community to review surveillance video that shows the two men wanted for fatally shooting a man one week ago at a Landover business. The victim is 39-year-old Jerome Dozier of Laurel. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.
On March 9, 2021, at approximately 3:15 pm, officers responded to a store in the 7300 block of Landover Road. Officers located the victim at the entrance suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The surveillance video shows the two suspects inside of the business just minutes before they shot and killed Dozier. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. The motive remains under investigation.
