Drivin Muzzy was formed in December 2012 in Mechanicsville, MD. The lead singer Donald Quade along with Guitarist Dustin Malvaso, Drummer Brandon Malvaso and Rhythm Guitarist John Zimmerman are all original members. When the musicians started to collaborate at the beginning of this venture, none of them knew where it was going and how long it would last. With months of practicing they booked their first show “a benefit” in April 2013 and the rest is history. When bassist Cory Clark joined the group in early 2014, the bands final piece to the puzzle was in place. Upon his arrival the band won “Southern Sound Off Battle of the Bands” and played with Country artist Josh Thompson, Frankie Ballard and Eric Paslay. Drivin’ Muzzy also was nominated a few months later in the Maryland Music Awards for Top Country Artist. With all this recognition and realizing the talent they had playing cover songs the band found the inspiration needed to start creating their own sound. They began writing music and after some good feedback after playing their own material at shows, they hit the studio in March 2015 to record their first Album “You and The Radio.”
“You & The Radio” will be available for purchase on iTunes, Google Play, or at Drivin’ Muzzy’s merchandise table during their performances.
