On Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1:20am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling conducted a traffic stop on a green Jeep in the area of

Darcy Lane

and Maryland Route 246. Upon making contact with the operation, George Dewayne Mulloy, 49, of LexingtonPark, Tpr. Reuschling detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Subsequently, standardized Field Sobriety was performed on the scene of the stop which Mr. Mulloy was unsuccessful in completing. A search incident to arrest for Driving Under the Influence resulted in the retrieval of CDS from Mr. Mulloy’s rear pocket. A further search of the vehicle, following information provided by Mr. Mulloy revealed additional CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Mulloy was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack for DUI processing, prior to being transported to the St. Mary’s CountyDetentionCenter. He was charged and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
