Summer Adventure Days – The Artist’s Tool Box of the 17th Century
July 13, 2022 @ 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
For ages 7- 12
Summer is the time for fun and adventure. HSMC offers a great outdoor environment for creative learning. Join us for our summer workshops; designed for kids with curious minds, who want to learn a new skill.
This workshop brings history and art together by introducing the historical methods and materials used by some of the early painters of long-ago. Participants will have the opportunity to make pigments by exploring a range of natural materials from plants, minerals, and insects, to create an art piece and an artist’s palette to take home.
