HOLLYWOOD, Md. — The flashing lights, sweet treats and laughter of children will fill the air again as the Fall Kiddie Carnival rolls into Hollywood for a weekend of fun designed just for the little ones.
The carnival runs Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. Only rides and games for younger children will be in operation, creating a safe and festive environment tailored to small kids.
A $12 armband lets children ride all evening, while families can still enjoy all the traditional carnival staples, from cotton candy to funnel cakes. Each night also brings excitement with free bicycle raffles for kids ages 12 and under.
Organizers say the event has become a fall tradition for families in St. Mary’s County, offering parents a chance to let their children enjoy the carnival atmosphere at their own pace.
More details can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
