DUNKIRK, Md. – The State Fire Marshal said an electrical malfunction in the engine was behind a fire that destroyed a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in Dunkirk early Sunday morning. 

The fire happened just before 3 am on Cedarwood Lane. Ten firefighters from the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department spent 15 minutes getting the fire under control.

No one was injured. The estimated loss was $25,000 for the vehicle and $150 for contents.
