WALDORF, Md. – On February 27, fire and rescue personnel responded to a structure fire off of Industrial Park Drive.
A worker at the auto repair shop called Charles County 911 Center just before 11:00 P.M. to report a vehicle on fire inside the building.
911 dispatched a “structure fire assignment” bringing 53 Fire/EMS personnel to the scene.
Firefighters arrived moments later, reporting “auto well off” inside the structure, fire knocked down, checking for possible extension throughout the building.
Power was secured at the panel, and it is believed a malfunctioning auto was the cause of this fire. No injuries have been reported at this time.
We will continue to provide any additional updates that we receive.
