At 12:23 p.m. March 16, TFC F. Dolinger and Tpr. D. Lewis were patrolling Route 235 near Lincoln Avenue, Lexington Park, when a vehicle was observed to have dark tint along with a modified exhaust system.
The driver was identified as Anthony Jose Figeroux, 34, of Lexington Park. During conversation with Figeroux, it was noted that the vehicle did not receive the proper stickers indicating the vehicle was equipped with legal tint.
A baseball bat was observed on the floor board directly behind the driver. When asked if he played baseball he stated, “Hell no.”
Figeroux consented to a search of his vehicle. A knife, having an eight and one half inch blade was located under the driver’s seat. Figeroux was placed under arrested for concealed deadly weapon.
A search of his person revealed a bag of marijuana. Figeroux was charged with Possession of a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Possession of Marijuana. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
