The Charles County Landfill and Recycling Centers operating schedule for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays is as follows:
Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 31 (Closing at noon)
• Charles County Landfill and Recycling Center in Waldorf
• Pisgah Recycling Center
Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 (Closed all day)
• Charles County Landfill and Recycling Center in Waldorf
• Pisgah Recycling Center
• Breeze Farm Recycling Center
• Gilbert Run Recycling Center
Due to the holiday closures on Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Breeze Farm and Gilbert Run Recycling Centers will offer extended holiday hours on Thursday, Dec. 26 and on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Every-other-week curbside recycling collection will not be affected.
