On October 23, 2011, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Deputy Ellis responded to a residence on Ritz Drive in Lexington Park, Maryland, for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Sonya Tamara Roberts, 41 of Lexington Park, Maryland, engaged in an argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Roberts scratched the victim. Roberts was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
