Patuxent River, MD — Seven logistics management specialists graduated from the Naval Acquisition Developmental Program (NADP) on Sept. 18 ready to embark on careers with the Naval Air Systems Command Logistics and Industrial Operations (AIR-6.0).

During a ceremony at Logistics and Industrial Complex, NADP participants — which included the graduates as well as associates and interns currently enrolled in the program — heard from Todd Balazs, deputy assistant commander for AIR-6.0.

“I encourage you to stay in close contact with the people you ‘grew up’ with,” Balazs said. “It’s not the end. You never know who you will be working for.”
He also urged the graduates to complete for NAVAIR’s leadership training programs such as the Journey Leadership Development Program and the NAVAIR Leadership Development Program.

“NAVAIR is a great organization with these programs, and it’s up to you to take advantage of them,” Balazs said.
