Lexington Park, MD — Some people have a hard time learning from their mistakes. A 58-year-old Lexington Park man had two run-ins with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department for violating the same court order twice in two days.
On September 9, a deputy responded to a residence on Park Pines Drive in Lexington Park for a reported peace order violation. He found that Alvin Thomas had had violated an active court order prohibiting him from being on the victim’s property.
Thomas was arrested and charged with violating the order.
The very next day, September 10, another officer responded to the same residence and found that Thomas was once again violating the court order.
He was arrested for a second time for violating the order.
