On Jan. 28 at 3:21 p.m., officers responded to the 8800 block of Lowell Road in Waldorf for an attempted home invasion.
Investigation revealed the suspect knocked on the victim’s door and asked for a person named Jimmy. When the victim told the suspect he had the wrong house, the suspect displayed a handgun and tried to force his way. The victim was able to push the door shut and call police. The suspect fled in a vehicle.
