Lusby, MD— Motorists should be prepared for possible brief traffic delays between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 14) on Cove Point Road in Lusby. Additional transports are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15, and Monday, Sept. 19.
Maryland State Police will control traffic while escorting wide load transports of material from Maryland Route 2/4 to the Dominion Cove Point LNG terminal.
The State Highway Administration has issued permits for the transports.
Wide-load transports also are scheduled to take place Thursday night, Sept. 15, and Monday night, Sept. 19, between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.
