On Monday, August 22, 2011, at approximately 6:00 pm, there was a report of an auto accident at Route 4 North and the Gas and Go Station.

 

The Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad (Co.6) responded to the call and found two vehicles involved with two people needing transporting.  One vehicle ended up in the lot of the Gas and Go Station and the other in the right hand lane of the northbound traffic.

 

Ambulance from Dunkirk (Co. 5) transported one person to Calvert Memorial Hospital for checkup.  Ambulance from Huntingtown (Co. 6) transported one person to a landing zone to be transported to the hospital by the State Trooper Helicopter.

 

There was a third vehicle involved when the car made contact with it in the parking lot of the Gas and Go.  No injuries from that vehicle.
