At 12:06 a.m. April 16, a vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. Rt. 301 in the area of Acton Lane was stopped for the driver not being restrained by his seat belt. 

The driver, Loren Waszine Jones, 24 years, of Temple Hills, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. 

A search incident to arrest revealed suspected PCP, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun. 

Jones was subsequently charged with possession of PCP, possession of a concealed deadly weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.
