Prince Frederick, MD — The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation is teaming up with Living Beyond Breast Cancer to host a yoga event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Reach and Raise on the Road aims to offer not only a great session of yoga but support and connection for everyone that attends.
Proceeds from the class will benefit the Department of Parks & Recreation Therman Gray Memorial Scholarship Fund and Living Beyond Breast Cancer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer is an organization dedicated to creating world where no one impacted by breast cancer feels uninformed or alone. Their mission is to connect people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support.
The event will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hallowing Point Park. Cost to participate is $24 per person. Participants of all ages are welcome and will be eligible for giveaways, door prizes and more.
